    The Portumac Belt Boxes can look really nice once accurately modified!!! Just wish the size could be modded too. lol

      The Boxes Porty Uses are actually a bit smaller in length. But I modded the aesthetic details to be accurate to the ESB/ROTJ Boxes. It really hides the size very nicely.

      Hrm, wasnt aware they were smaller. What about depth? I guess thats what really made me think they were big.

      Its the depth that is larger while they are not as tall.

      I hope I get that feeling some day. I might build my own belt boxes and chest box one day. But I'd like to get trooping first.

    Just got back from my first troop. It was easy and tame...was a nice to get a feel of how trooping operates.

    One of my pet peeves: Somone starting a thread/discussion or project....I read the thread and find out there is no closer to the discussion or project...I cant stand that.

      LOL....yeah there is a promo shot that was after filming, the whole cast including Dave with the Robe under, Yes it was the ANH suit, in the picture.

      Probably . . . if you used auto paint on them to begin with. Just make sure you're using the same type of paint.

    I was looking throw the sith lord members on the 501st site and ill be honest. I found a lot of the Vaders subpar looking in my opinion..Would they be older Vaders when the standards were different years ago?

      Most likely, you have to remember a lot the high quality parts didn't exist back then. I think as the props improved so did the standards. Having been around back in '98 there were a lot more "homemade" costumes when we first started, now I think it's gone the other way with way more skilled prop makers providing most of the pieces.

      Yeah, I haven't sent in new photos of my updated Vader to our GML yet. I think it's probably that way for a lot of people.

    Someone said on my facebook that the GMLs who approve the costumes have not life for bein g strickt on the costumes >.>

      It depends greatly on the GML I guess and how familiar they are with the costume(s). <shrugs>

    I got an email fro m the Garrison Leader and he thought I wanted to submitt a Darth Vader Pre armor costume...lol I might have selected Darth Vader ROTS Pre armor on my app instead of Darth Vader ROTJ.

    Ive seen a lot of people use the Gun metal/black on many esb/rotj shoulder bells. Where in the films have we ever seen that alternating scheme!!!!!!??????

    CP capes came in and they are the best set ive ever seen and owned.

      They are from Custom Props, and it was their cheaper set using Alpacuna instead of wool. they were on discount and I bought them at $231 with shipping. He lists his stuff on ebay.
