  1. I'm working on a new Kylo build right now and have tried out the Robovox setup with my helmet (a converted black series/disney store mask). I find that the sound from the speaker sounds great... as close to Kylo's voice as I think I could get... from my wife's perspective when I've been testing though, my real voice is still audible from inside the helmet. I've tried lining the inside of the helmet (particularly behind the cheek holes) with some foam padding and even temporarily glued in some elastic straps to cover the opening beneath the chin (effectively sealing it to my neck), all to try and soundproof it as much as possible, but my voice still comes through unless I absolutely blast the volume through the speaker (which I had hanging around my neck during testing). I even tried taking the filters off of a respirator I use for painting that does a good job of sealing around my mouth and noise and cutting out some decibels when I talk, and squeezing the mic into it and barely fitting it and my head inside the helmet... still didn't help much. Last thing I tried was putting a slightly smaller speaker (needed a smaller one that would actually fit) into the helmet itself in front of my mouth in hopes that my speaking into the mic behind it would get hidden - sadly it didnt... either Kylo is yelling ridiculously loudly with the volume cranked, or else his and my voices are both heard at once.

Any once else run into a similar problem? If so, how did you get around it?

    Thanks!!
