Having the mic and voice changer integrated into your helmet would be incredibly cool. You could even print a case for the Velleman circuit and "weld" it in. Please keep us updated on your progress.
I was tinkering around with a design for this same thing while in school last year. Only difference is that only the mic, fans, and battery would be kept in the helmet. Everything was going to use pogo pins so you can take the helmet off without having to worry about breaking wires. Channels would have been designed into the face mask for all the wiring to run from the dome where the battery would have been kept, through the face mask where the fans were housed, down to the bottom portion of the face plate, where the microphone would be housed. Bluetooth transmitter to the receiver kept on your belt to go into the Zoom and amp setup.
Any budget reccomendations for a voice changer?
